“Don’t get me, don’t get me, don’t get me!” Austin shouted.
“Stop screaming through the headset. You’re too loud.” Stewart said calmly.
“I can’t help it. The zombies are coming to get me and I don’t want to get diseased because then I’ll die!” Austin continued to shout through the game headset. He mashed some buttons on his controller sticking out his tongue in concentration.
“Just run!” Dean shouted.
“Dean, where did you go?” Stewart asked.
“I ran away.”
“Of course you did…”
“Just run away… Running is good.” Austin breathed deeply. His character shot another zombie before turning around and fleeing the scene.
“Austin, get back here!” Stewart shouted. “Dean, you come back here, too. We need your help!”
“There’s too many of them!” Austin whined running farther away.
“I got this, guys… Don’t you worry.” Jared announced rather cockily. His character tossed bomb after bomb into the middle of the battlefield.
“Where did you get bombs?!” Stewart demanded.
“I found them… Somewhere. I went exploring without you guys.” Jared chuckled.
“Well, don’t waste all of them.” Stewart ordered. “Austin? Dean? Did you guys come back to the scene yet?”
“Nope,” Dean refused.
“I don’t even know where I am… I think I’m lost.” Austin replied.
Stewart sighed, but before he could say anything else Jared let out a scream. Austin screamed in retaliation, even though nothing was threatening his character.
“What is wrong with you guys!” Stewart shouted.
“I was bit from behind… I have zombie disease!” Jared announced in a panic.
“Oh, no we’re all going to die!” Dean yelled.
“We’re not going to die. And Dean, you’re nowhere near us.” Stewart grumbled.
A message came up on the screen announcing Jared’s death.
“Did… Did Jared just die from zombie disease?” Austin stammered.
“I believe so.” Stewart groaned.
“That was super quick. Oh, my God… we’re going to die!” Dean panicked.
“Panicking is not going to solve anything!” Stewart shouted. “But Austin and Dean, you need to get back here and help me out because now I’m all alone.”
“Okay, okay… Let me find my way back.” Austin turned his character around and tried to follow the map on the lower right-side of the screen.
“Zombies are attacking!” Dean shouted. “I don’t know where you guys are, but zombies are coming for me!”
“This is why we don’t split up…” Stewart sighed.
Dean began to speak, but his voice was cut off when a message popped up on the screen.
“Dean’s dead!” Austin shouted.
“Of course…” Stewart sighed.
“I’m coming, I’m coming.” Austin breathed heavily as he made his character trek back to his friend. After a few minutes, he finally saw Stewart’s character in sight.
“I found you!” he announced.
“Stay away; I got disease. Just fight the zombies around you.” Stewart warned.
“You’re not going to…?”
A message appeared announcing Stewart’s death.
Austin whimpered. “I’m all alone…”
