Reading
I read way more than I planned to this month. The total amount of books I read was 8, but there’s still half a week of January left. I may get in another book or two.
For a list of the books I read and their reviews (not all the reviews are posted yet) go check out my Reading List.
Writing
January was an editing month for me. I spent half of the month working on George Florence. I completely edited the first draft by January 18 and sent the second part of it to my writing group.
Then I started editing another novel called Take Over. I’ll be alternating the two novels so I don’t burn myself out with just one story. I didn’t finish editing Take Over, but I’m in no rush with that novel. My main focus is still George Florence.
Blogging
I think I’ve been keeping up with my blog very well. I had my January posts done in a timely manner and I was able to get a head start on my February posts, which are just about done.
If you would like to be a part of my blog, check out the Be a Guest Blogger page. I’d love to have you! Also, if you have a book recommendation for me or if you’re an author in need of some reviews, check out my Book Review Policy.
Overall
January was productive as was the past few months. I think I’m finally getting into a groove with my reading, writing, editing, and blogging!
