Here’s an update on my August Goals.
Reading:
I read three out of the five books I planned on reading. I went on vacation and found a trilogy and ended up reading those.
So I actually read more than planned; they just weren’t the exact books I had in mind. My Reading List has been updated. You can check that out to look at the reviews I’ve done this month.
Writing:
I went on two vacations this month.
Now that the excuses are out of the way…
I didn’t finish rewriting George Florence yet. I’m almost there though! I think I only have another 40-50k words left? It seems like a lot, but… Well, it is a lot.
Also, I didn’t query my children’s book to anymore agents. I’ll query it out some more in September. I heard back from a few, though. All the answers were no, but at least I got responses.
Blogging:
As far as I’m concerned, blogging has been going well.
As long as you guys don’t have any complaints about my blog, I think we’re all good!
Overall:
August was productive and certainly went by way too fast.
I start back to work and babysitting and such in a week. Let’s see how productive September will be.
