Your Destiny is Inside Your: Be Your Own Guiding Light by Ana Pat is an enlightening read. I have to admit, it wasn’t at all what I expected it to be. I don’t mean this in a bad way, this book is full of valued information and it’s motivational to boot.
If you’re looking for a boost in your mood or you need a pick-me-up in terms of being true to yourself, then this is the book to read.
It’s short, being only about 200 pages long, and touches upon just about every aspect of life from love and relationships to loving yourself, being yourself, and following your passions. It’s all about harnessing your positive energy.
Unfortunately, for the type of book this is, there wasn’t much credibility to it. The author uses various scenarios and explanations but never shares where this information came from. Maybe it’s meant to be an inspirational read and some people may take it to heart regardless of knowing where the information came from. I was certainly uplifted by it, but I would love to know more.
This book might also be a tough one to read in the beginning. Throughout most of the book, there are long paragraphs that sometimes end up being about a page long. I prefer it to be broken up so it took me a little bit to adjust to the writing style.
Overall, though, this is a book I’ll go back to from time to time. It’s a great positive read.
