I received a free eARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Summary:
Ray Jones and his wife Lena are on the run.
They’ve traveled to the far reaches of the Fairy Kingdom to seek cover.
But Her troops are coming together.
And they’re looking for revenge.
My Review:
I love the cover because it’s simple yet it tells a lot about what the story is going to be about. The titles in this short series are getting more clever as well.
As part of the author’s review team, I’ve read and reviewed Rot 1 and Rot 2. I enjoyed both of them so I was looking forward to this part.
This short tale shows Ray and his wife, Lena, on the run. They travel far and wide meeting all sorts of new, interesting characters that “help” along the way. Some more than others. Ray has gotten rid of the Fairy Godmother only to find out that she may still be lingering about.
This was another great adventure for the tooth fairy. With each part we’re delving deeper and deeper into the plot and it keeps getting interesting.
This story has an interesting sense of humor. As a short story, it’s, of course, short and sweet. It’s easy to read and fun to just sit and relax for a bit reading it from start to finish. It flows nicely throughout and it picked up right where part two left off.
This was another great part for Ray and I’m glad to get to see more of Lena, I really enjoy her character. If you’re into a little twisted humor and short reads, check this one out. I’m looking forward to the next part.
