Ready…set…WRITE!
Well, today is June first, everyone! Has everybody gotten started on their Camp NaNos? I have. I think I’ve told you all this before: my sister and I go to Barnes and Noble a lot to write. That’s where I am now. I wrote 1,712 words! That gets me over today’s word count which was 1,667. However, I have a confession…I changed my novel idea.
Remember how I told you about Cybertra? Well, I’m not in the mood to write that anymore. Instead, I’m writing something that I came up with a while ago. It’s called A Job To Get Done. It’s about a thief. This thief meets a detective and both of them are compromised when they begin to have feelings for each other, but can’t. You know, a detective can’t really be on a thief’s side. That would not look good for him, especially since he just got a promotion! Anyway, that’s what I’m writing for my Camp NaNo.
I plan on updating my word count on here as well as on the Camp NaNo site. Again, my user name is Fiery_Sapphire if anyone would like to look me up on there. That’s where the summary and the excerpt of the novel is. I would love to see how far along everyone else gets on Camp NaNo, so leave a comment with your word count if you’ve started writing already! 🙂 I’m babysitting tomorrow night so while the kids are in bed, I’m going to have a field day and try to write as much as I can! I like to be ahead.
Look at the count down! It’s completed! I’m going to leave it like that for a day because I think it looks cool. Tomorrow, I will change it so it shows how much time we have left.
And another thing…I wanted to post some short stories or poems on here to show you guys examples of my writing and such. I decided that I’m going to try to post a sample of writing every Saturday. Probably starting next Saturday! 😉 But this way I can get some feedback on my writing and it will also get me into the habit of writing a bit each day…after all these years of writing, I still have not gotten my self into that habit!
