Yum…Chocolate!
Happy Easter everyone! I hope that you all had a nice, relaxing holiday. I know that I did and I have to say that sitting in church with my father is quite comical. Neither one of us can sit still in church, which is one of the reasons as to why I’m one of the Sunday school teachers…I can’t sit for a full hour listening to a lecture. I love my parish and minister, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t consider myself too religious which makes it kind of hard to listen to that topic for very long. It’s kind of like my math class.
Last night I wrote 6,861 words for Take Over. I am now up to 64,520 words and 100 single-spaced pages. I was hoping to finish the novel today, but I haven’t really gotten a chance to work on it. I am going to try to finish it during Camp NaNo, though. I’m going to cheat a little and add those words to my NaNo word count. I’m still going to try to get to 50,000 words on Saving Each Other for Camp, but I thought I could boost my word count a little and add Take Over. It will make me feel extra accomplished.
I am going to try to write as much as I can on Take Over for the rest of the tonight. Then, when midnight strikes, I’m going to start on my Camp NaNo novel. I may or may not post on here again at two in the morning or whenever I decide to go to bed, but I will definitely post tomorrow. I’m going to try to update every single during April. I always update when I write something and if I update that means I must have written a little that day, right?
I also decided that when I finish whole novel, that’s when I’ll add the excerpt. When I start a novel, I’ll add the summary. Of course, since I just thought of this, I’m going to post both the excerpt and the summary for Take Over at the same time when I finish the novel. I’m not going to worry about the summary for Saving Each Other. Since I already wrote it technically, I already posted the summary on here before. It’s under the Summaries category…or it should be, anyway.
Today I have been working on polishing my children’s picture book Asking Bobby. I wrote a synopsis and sent it to one publisher so far. Wish me luck!
And good luck to everyone who is participating in Camp NaNoWriMo! 🙂
