This pic was taken by me at school.
Well, there you go! 🙂 I officially have 100 followers. Thank you!
You know, it’s funny. I had originally started this blog on BlogSpot back in January of 2012. I would post, look at other blogs and like them, comment on them, and follow them. But no one ever followed or commented on my blog. I barely got any views on my page. I got a little discouraged, but I kept posting. Then life got in a way and I forgot about it. After a couple months, I got back into it and then realized…no one is going to look back on here because I was away for so long. Then my sister told me to try WordPress because it had better traffic.
Well, I went onto WordPress and started this blog in May 2012. Again, life got in the way and I stopped for pretty much the whole summer, but I got back into it in August and I think I have been doing pretty well keeping up with it since then. Especially now since it’s November and NaNo is going on. I have a lot to talk about because I have been writing a lot more…even though life still gets in the way sometimes, but I’m learning to work my way around it.
My sister was right. WordPress does have a lot more traffic and I find it easier to navigate than BlogSpot. Don’t get me wrong, BlogSpot was great, but I guess I will always prefer WordPress. I find a lot more interesting blogs on WordPress. I have a lot of views, a lot of comments, and now a lot of followers.
I just thought I would make a post to say thank you to all the people who actually come by and read my blog. It does really mean a lot; especially since I started this whole blog to get recognized for when I finally publish some writing out there. Now I know I will have a few people who know that my book is out there and will maybe buy it. Now the last piece of the puzzle is to actually get something published…
So thank you to all of my followers and even my viewers who keep coming back! All of this happened with yesterday’s post “Day 3” about my NaNo writing. I got 143 views and 102 followers. Thank you to everyone who has been reading about my life and actually finds it enjoyable enough to keep coming back for more. 🙂
