Here’s another tag for all you lovely people! This time, it’s not writing or reading related. You can learn a little bit more about me in general.
I was tagged by the awesome Gwen from Apprentice Never Master. Go follow her blog. She writes a lot of a great stuff!
There are rules to this one. There are six questions set in stone, the last two being changed depending on the person who tagged you. Also, each answer needs to be at least two sentences long. Details, people.
What’s one of your biggest pet peeves?
When people “assume.” I know that’s an odd thing to say. We all assume whether we mean to or not. I assume things all the time. However, it’s bothersome when people assume things about you and they’re completely wrong. For example, in one of my classes at school we needed to tell two things about ourselves: one that was true and one that was false. Our classmates had to guess which was true and which wasn’t. When I told people I play video games such as Pokemon, Sonic, Zelda, etc., almost everyone told me that was the lie because I was too young to even know what those games were.
What is your favorite song at the moment?
Cake by the Ocean by DNCE. You can never go wrong with one of the Jonas brothers coming out of the woodwork.
Who is your favorite blogger?
My favorite blogger? There are too many to count. I can’t list all my friends from WordPress! Though I’ll answer Herminia from Aspiring Writer. I’ve been following her blog for the longest out of everyone else (I think) and we chat every single day.
What’s the nicest thing you’ve seen someone do recently?
As most of you know, I teach special ed. preschoolers. I have five boys with Autism, two boys with Down Syndrome, and one girl with Cerebral Palsy. All of my boys know that our only girl needs help when walking and can have a hard time holding things in her hands. My boys will hold her hand when she walks, they’ll run to her cubby and grab her lunchbox for her, and they’ll even try to move her wheelchair (with or without teacher permission…) when we’re getting ready to go to the playground or go home. They’re always trying to help each other out, despite the fact that they can barely share their toys yet.
My students never cease to amaze me.
What’s something you regret doing?
You guys are going to think I’m lying, but there’s really nothing that I regret doing. Nothing that I can think of, anyway. Everything I did or didn’t do is what made me who I am today. I think so far I’ve turned into a cool kid and I wouldn’t change any of it.
If you could take only three items with you to a deserted island, what would they be, and why?
My laptop because I don’t think I would be able to stop writing and blogging. Plus I can keep in contact with people through Skype and email. I would probably also bring a thick notebook and pen. You never know when you’ll get the urge to handwrite or doodle. Then I would also include a stack of books.
What’s the last television episode you really loved?
The only show I watch on TV is Once Upon a Time. A couple episodes ago was a really, really good one. Though I can’t remember it. The episode two weeks ago I cried four times and kept crying long after the episode ended. I would not include that one…
What place on your home continent would you most like to visit?
California, I think. I’ve never been and I would love to see Hollywood. Plus a few of my favorite YouTubers live there and I think it would be awesome to meet them… somehow…
I’m tagging…
Herminia from Aspiring Writer
Jen from Combustible Reviews
Skye Hegyes
Anyone else who wants to do this, feel free to do it as well.
Questions 7 and 8 for those I tagged are…
What is the most stressful thing in your life right now?
If you could meet any celebrity tomorrow, who would it be?
Enjoy!
