Reading
I’m just plugging along on my reading list. I’ll still be uploading a book review every Saturday. Honestly, I have no idea where I am in my Goodreads goal because I’ve gotten so behind keeping track of that. So, aside from reading, my goal this month is to catch up on my Goodreads and get that updated.
Writing
December is all about playing catch up. I’ve gotten behind on some writing projects and I’d like to get my head on straight with them. Though there will be a separate blog post about my writing soon.
Blogging
Again, more catch up. Well, I guess not catch up per say… there’s a lot I need to do for 2019 for the blog and something extra. So, I guess more getting my head on straight. I want to finish my December posts and get a head start on January. Plus, there’s something else that will be coming in 2019 though I don’t know when yet. I’m hoping January or February.
What are your plans for December and the end of the year? Let me know in the comments below. If you liked this post, please share it around.

Best of luck with your goals!
Thank you! Do you have any goals for the month?
You’re welcome. I’m still figuring goals out.
Sounds good.
Thanks, and you’re welcome.
Oops. Ignore the second comment. It was meant for a different response.
Goals for the month: continue my writing habit after NaNoWriMo, and get more organised regarding the things I want to blog about. I must also go and see Into The Spider-Verse!
All sounds good! I need to continue my writing routine as well… there’s just too much to do, lol. Good luck with all of that! 🙂
I also have a lot of catching up to do. Good luck with all your goals. 🙂
Thanks, you too. Playing catch up is no fun.
Your goals sound good. Good luck with them.
I’ve got a few things I’m hoping to finish before the end of the year.
I want to get as close as I can to completing my reading goal for the year, though I don’t think I’m going to actually reach it this year. Not unless I manage to get some serious reading time in between Christmas and the New Year. I’m sure going to try anyhow. I also have some craft projects I want to have done by the end of the year. Thankfully, I can actually do those while my Kindle reads to me, so I can combine these two things.
I’ve already done what I can ahead of time on my blog for January, so I’m not worried about blog posts beyond those I need to do last minute. As for writing… I sort of have that on hold right now, since I’m putting my energy in to completing the other stuff, and also creating Kindle versions of my books (I was making people go elsewhere for eBooks before so I didn’t have to deal with the KDP dashboard, but now CreateSpace and KDP have merged, and I have to deal with the KDP dashboard anyhow, so I’m making actual Kindle versions available on Amazon).
That’s great you can get the reading done and crafting at the same time. I need to try to listen to audio books but I’m afraid I’ll tune them out while I’m doing something else, lol. At that point I might as well just sit down with the book and read it to myself.
It seems like your writing time is still writing time, just not anything new. That’s a big thing to figure out so, good luck with that. And good job for having January ready to go. I’ve gotten so behind.
The reading while crafting thing is one of he times where my lack of sight works to my advantage. Apart from the odd braille book, I have to listen either way, so I might as well do something with my hands – like work on craft projects – while I do. Of course, I do sometimes just snuggle up in a blanket with a warm drink and listen to my books that way too.
Yes. I’m technically getting my writing time. It’s just been used more for the publishing side of things than the writing side of things lately. Still, that’s an improvement on earlier in the year. Plus, at least this time it’s sort of my choice. I’m choosing to get those other things done now. My hope is to enter 2019 with those things done, so my writing time can be used more for actual writing of new content. Good thing is, I have plenty of titles to keep potential readers occupied while I work on getting the other stuff done, and then getting my next book out.
See, I need to do that. I feel like if I listened to a book I’d go on the computer and “work” and tune it out. I need to do a craft project or just listen. I’m terrible at relaxing.
Exactly, it seems like you’ve got everything under control. 🙂
At my age, getting up on my feet and getting through the day are my only goals. LOL I do hope to blog more (which is the extent of my writing) and teach some workshops in 2019.
Lol, good goals! I’m sure you’ll reach both of them.
