What do you do when you’ve published your blog post? You have to spread the word about it!

Your blog posts can reach so many people outside of your followers circle, outside of the WordPress circle. You just need to know the right places to promote to. It doesn’t have to be every single place listed below, but you want to make sure you spread the word well enough.

Also, don’t forget to return the favor when others share your post. Share other posts as well. Spread the love.

  1. Thanks for the tipps! I don’t much promote my blogposts now. I do promote my website, though. It seems like a lot of additional work, & I’d rather keep the focus on my novel. I guess I’ll have to come up with a system that allows me to keep a balance…

    • Balance is certainly hard, yeah. Of course, if one takes priority over the other then definitely focus on that first. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

  2. Thanks for the tips. I usually share my posts on Twitter. I have my blog set up to where it will automatically send a tweet with my latest entry. I do it on Facebook on the writing groups I’m in. When I was participating in the A to Z Writing Challenge, I included my blog in my comments. I forgot how to do it, though.
