Reading
I plan on reading at least four books this month. So, in no particular order…
1. Guy in Real Life by Steve Brezenoff
2. Deceived by Heena Rathore P.
3. When We Go Missing by Kristen Twardowski
4. The Neverland Wars 2: The Piper’s Price by Audrey Greathouse
Writing
I tried to strategize what I should work on each month for the whole year. That’s obviously subject to change, but I’m trying to have some sort of plan here.
1. Edit Side Effect for Kris
2. Outline George Florence series
3. Write/edit short stories for submission (I would like to submit to at least one (hopefully two) contests and/or magazines this month.)
Blogging
1. Finish everything for January… being sick that last week of December really put a dent in my original plan.
2. Get started on February
Overall
January is going to be a productive month for me. Work starts again tomorrow, but I’m going to try to plan out designated writing, reading, and blogging times for each day.
I don’t think I went crazy for what I want to accomplish this month, so I should be able to get most of it done.
What are your plans for January? Let me know in the comments below!

Love how you have shared your goals! Happy new year 🙋🏼
Thank you! Let’s hope I stick to them. 😉
Happy New Year!
That sounds productive, good luck 🙂
Thank you. 🙂
Sigh. I haven’t heard of any of these. Can’t wait for your reviews. Happy new year Rachel!
Two of those books are ARCs from the authors. 😉
Happy New Year!
Worthwhile goals for anyone of any age.
Thank you. I hope I can stick with them!
I’m going to get my first novel sent out to a few beta readers next week and then start plotting my second book. And then, of course, more editing of the first novel once it comes back. I’ve decided editing never ends 😉
Editing never truly ends, I agree! Good luck with both of your novels and I wish you the best in 2017. 🙂
Ew work. But hopefully you have a productive January!
I think I will! So far it has been. I hope you’re productive as well.
Yay! It’s been a good start to the new year. 🙂
It has! 🙂
I’m excited for the rest of 2017.
Me too. 🙂

Good luck with your goals. I like how you publicly state them. Does that help you stick to them more effectively?
It definitely does! Thanks for reblogging. 🙂
My pleasure
