Top Ten Ways To Avoid Writing

Ever have one of those days when you just don’t feel like writing? Maybe you have a lot of those days?

They say to write every day, even if it’s just a little bit. But it’s nice to have a break once in a while, too.

1. Talk a walk

Fresh air is good air.

2. Watch TV

Watch a movie for two hours or binge watch a TV show for 24 hours. Do what your heart desires.

3. Play video games

Who doesn’t love video games?

4. Play cards a board game

And who doesn’t love board games?

5. Read a book

If you feel guilty for not writing, this is the closest thing you can get to it. Have fun.

6. Go out with friends or family

Social lives are scaryย but are ultimately important.

7. Play with your pets

They need love and attention too. Especially when you stare at that shiny box and ignore them all day.

8. Clean

A clean home is a happy home.

9. Take a nap

Because you were up all night writing, right? I won’t say anything if you won’t.

10. Listen to music

This is one the best ways to clear your mind and relax.

  1. I thought this was going to be a cheeky post but, really, this are wonderful alternatives to writing. IF you find you just can’t write. I love the walking and reading, especially. OH, and pets. Pets are therapeutic. <3
