Time to Write: Time for a Twist

time to write writing prompt rachel poli

We have about one week left of Camp NaNoWriMo. How are your stories coming along? Have you hit your word goal yet? Whether you have or haven’t, are you almost done with your novel overall?

We’re nearing the end so why not add a twist to your story?

Include something that your readers will never see coming whether it’s a brand new character to make an appearance, or maybe a supposed dead character shows up. Maybe we’ll find out the truth behind the bad guy’s motivation, or maybe the truth behind the good guys’s motivation.

It can be anything.

Feel free to post your story in the comments below. I’d love to see what you come up with. If you respond by Thursday, April 28, I’ll post your story and a link to your blog for next week’s Time to Write prompt.

Happy writing!

  1. Oh, I love the new look of the blog. 🙂 Nothing like mail and post-its! 🙂 I am 1,100 words shy of my goal! It is my last chapter and a little bit stumped at the moment. Maybe I will go shopping for awhile. LOL I have enjoyed writing this month. It has been awhile that I have enjoyed it. Can’t wait to dive in on the last edits after this. 🙂 Good luck on yours. 🙂

Let me know what you think!
