January 2016 Goals

January Goals

1. Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen
2. Once Upon A Time by Kevin Tong
3. Top 8 by Katie Finn
4. The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites by Heather Brewer
5. Tigerlily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

These books are subject to change. I make no promises that I may go to a bookstore and buy a new book.

1. Edit George Florence — I’m hoping to edit the full draft this month.
2. Short pieces — I’ll be on the lookout for contests and magazines in need of submissions.

1. Continue to post daily
2. Write February posts

I’m starting this year off right getting straight down to business.

What are your goals for January?

  1. Good luck with your reading list this month. I don’t have any reading planned but I’m still reading Steve Harvey ‘s Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success and Jordan Rosenfeld’s A Writer’s Guide to Persistence. I did make my first submission of the month past Saturday and have two more submissions. Will be checking and my FB submissions groups for any journals/magazines/anthologies accepting submissions in Jan/Feb.

  2. Those are some decent goals for January. I’m glad to see you focusing on one month at a time. I haven’t quite organized everything for that feat yet, but soon! I have yearly goals, but I still have to hammer them down into quarterly or monthly goals.

    1. Yeah, I have a giant to do list and a list of things I would like to get done in 2016. I just kind of picked and chose what I wanted to work on first.
