Reading:
I read three out of the four books I planned on reading. I updated my Reading List with the books I read this month, so you can get ahead and check those out and read the reviews I wrote.
Even though I didn’t read four books this month like I planned, I reached my goal for my Goodreads 2015 Reading Challenge! I have read 52 books, one book a week. I skipped a few weeks, but I also read multiple books during other weeks. I somehow managed to hit my goal early.
Writing:
I didn’t editΒ George Florence at all. My writer’s group meeting got cancelled because of the holidays. We won’t be regrouping until after the new year. I plan on editing that novel once again after the new year.
I did manage to write 2,000 words a day on my NaNo novel,Β Second Chances. I skipped an entire week, but I plan on hitting 50k later today.Β So I guess it was successful.
Blogging:
I’ve been brainstorming new ideas for 2016 and have been trying to put them in motion. There will be more information on these ideas at the beginning of January. I promise I won’t disappoint.
Overall:
November was a very successful month and super busy. December is going to be just as–if not more–crazy. So I hope to hit all my goals then as well.
How was your November?
Congrats on reaching your Goodreads challenge goal! I totally lost track of mine, but I think it did get me back into the habit of reading more for pleasure which was the plan so I guess it worked!
That’s all that matters! I wanted to start reading more (I have way too many books that are collecting dust on my shelf!) and I think the challenge served it’s purpose. Of course, now my competitive side is telling me to reach for a higher goal for next year! π
Congrats on the reading list, I will be undertaking the same challenge next year to read as many book as I can. π
Yep you can do it, NaNo winner in the making don’t quit you’re so close!
I’ve got 0(zero) ideas for my blog next year. I wonder how that will go haha.
I think I’m going to try to read 52 again and hope to go over like this year. What about you?
Sometimes you just need to take it one day at a time, though. Some of the best blog ideas happen that way. π
One book a week doesn’t seem too difficult, unless you’re reading a good Fantasy haha. I think 52 is a good number though I might try for 60 because rounded numbers.
I do have an idea but its a bit of work, might be a once a month kind of thing but we’ll see.
Enjoy your day Rache π
I agree. One book a week is pretty easy depending on how long the book is.
Thanks, you too! π
Congratulations on the NaNoWriMo win! I can’t believe you took a week off and still finished. That is impressive!
I hit 50k this afternoon! Thank you. π
You…disappoint? IMPOSSIBLE.
I hope not!
Congrats on the NaNo win. π
Thank you!
How did you do?
I finally won!
Yay! Good job! π
Thank you. π I’m so happy.
How did the book go?
It went better than I thought. How about yours?
Good until the end, lol.
well done on the win AspiringWriter on your win too π
Sounds like (despite being sick) you had a pretty fantastic November. π
I think I did. It was super busy and very stressful, but I did get a lot done.
I can see that. π
Lots of “real life” things happened as well. Some good, some not. It was a long month, lol.
