  1. What if I was 21 again? I was planning a huge wedding and spending money like it was growing on trees. I was struggling, as I always have, with my weight. I had faced one of the most horrendous situations in my life when the loan company I worked for was held up at gun point and I thought I’d never live to see another day. Our president, John F. Kennedy had just been assassinated, only to be followed by the killing of Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy. Camelot had vanished and was replaced with a nation of fear. Race riots were erupting in my city. To top it all off, my sheltered world as a Christian, was being invaded by the real world and I resisted with all my might. ? It’s always enticing to be younger than you are, but when I look back on my life of 73 years – 21 doesn’t sound so great anymore.

Let me know what you think!
