Camp NaNo: Week Three

Today marks week three of Camp NaNoWriMo. It also marks exactly halfway through the month. April has been zipping by and part of that might be because of Camp. Either way, we only have two weeks left.

I hope everyone is on par with their word counts. Maybe you’re even a bit ahead.

If you’re a little behind, don’t worry; there is still plenty of time to catch up.

Except… April 30th is going to be here before we know it. So you should get cracking on that.

In the meantime….

      1. I do have stuff written, and I’m not as far behind as I originally thought. I’m just used to having weekends being half-day/all-day writing days and it didn’t happen. I’m just grumpy because I’m trying to make this my full-time job and it just feels like I’m failing when I don’t get the work done. Hmm… Maybe I’ll turn that into a blog post. lol

      2. No, I don’t see that as a failure. I think when you’re a writer you need a certain routine, though. You need to pick a time every day that’s “writing time” or something like that. I’m still trying to figure out my writing, but I know it will be easier when school ends. I don’t know what your life is like, but I’m sure it’s hard to find a specific time to sit down for a bit and write.

      3. One of the major decisions in my life, which I’m not making major announcements about yet because A) I don’t want to jinx myself and B) because I want to make sure everything works out before I make anything official online SHOULD help me set up an official “writing time”. Here’s hoping. *crosses fingers*

Let me know what you think!
